At Nila Clay Studio, we believe that every child has the potential to be an artist. The Kid’s Pottery workshops along with Creativity Clay Camps provide a fun, messy environment where kids can play with clay, express their imagination and bring home their own handmade artifacts.
Making art with clay is much more than enjoyable it can help build skills in fine motor development, perseverance and focus, problem solving and self confidence. From pinching, squishing and rolling to glazing and painting, children can experience the joy of transforming a piece of clay into something stunning and unique.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a brief weekend workshop or an entire vacation camp. We provide an environment that is safe and encouraging so that children from 5 to 14 can have fun, learn and grow through arts and crafts.

Kids Pottery Camps (Holiday / Summer Camps)
Camp Highlights:
- Every day, theme-based projects are created (e.g., "Under the Sea", "Jungle Animals", "My Dream House", "Festival Fun")
- Hand building sculpture, hand building, and wheel throwing
- Story time and clay play
- Group projects, such as creating the clay village of a miniature or fairy gardens
- Day of decorating and glazing
- Goodie bags for their take-home are filled with their most creative creations.

Introduction to the Pottery Wheel
A fun, hands-on chance to shape clay on a spinning wheel.
Each session is guided by our friendly instructors who make learning simple and exciting. All materials, tools, and firing are included. Finished pieces are fired in our kiln and ready for collection in 2–3 weeks.
Workshop Details:
- Age Group: 5 to 14 years batches divided by age
- Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours per session
- Frequency: Weekend batches After school slots

Parent-Child Pottery Sessions at Nila Clay Studio
Make beautiful memories with your family as you get your hands messy with clay. The parents child pottery workshops are specifically designed to encourage bonding, fun and shared creative thinking. Ideal for parents and children (ages between 5 and 12) to work together in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
These classes enhance the bond between parents and children through teamwork while also teaching clay basics in a relaxed, non competitive manner. There is no prior experience required. Simply bring your creativity.

1.What is the recommended age range for pottery workshops for children and camps?
The workshops and camps are specifically designed for children 5–14 years old. The majority of our batches are divided by age (5–8 years, and 9–14 years) to ensure that each child receives adequate guidance and participates in the activities at their own pace.
2.Do you have parent-child pottery classes?
Yes! We frequently hold special workshops for parents and children. These are fantastic bonding opportunities that let you and your child make something to create together. The most popular projects are hand prints of the family, matching bowls animals, animal themed sculptures, as well as story tile.
3. When will the children's clay classes be held?
Create exciting holiday clay workshops during school holidays summer Camp, Onam Holidays, Christmas and New Year breaks, as well as others with long weekend breaks. Dates and themes are posted prior to the time via our website and WhatsApp.
4. Is there a waiting room or a place for parents to sit?
There is a comfortable waiting area, complete with seating along with drinking water along with drinks . Parents can also enjoy watching their kids create on the side.
5. What can I do to book an event and/or camp that my child is interested in?
Reserve quickly by phoning or messaging us, or filling in the inquiry request form here. We recommend making reservations at minimum a week prior to the event since seats are very limited.
6. How do I cancel my reservation?
Requires a minimum of 48 hours’ advance notice of cancellations or changes to the schedule. In the case of camps, this cancellation policy could differ slightly based on the group.
